A fast flip through one of my recent sketchbooks! All sketches were also made fast, between 1 and 20 minutes per drawing, which is why some are unfinished. But sketching quickly really helps in letting go of perfectionism :) I’m currently recording a video for Patreon members talking about my sketches in-depth. It’ll be up next week.
I’m also working on making videos available here on Substack’s for paid members, so watch this space!
Some sketches were made on holiday, some at our Patreons Zoom sessions (Deadly combo’s; Mushrooms and Florals).
Some were made at Zoom sessions hosted by other artists:
Emma Carlisle (Fast Frogs, Abandoned Houses, Cats, Bears and Hedgehogs)
Sarah Dyer (Drawing vintage Ceramics)
Sarah van Dongen (reference pictures of a fox and a deer)
Tj Marston (Spooky landscapes)
London Drawing Group (Maria Prymachenko)
Draw Brighton (Life Drawing)
THE MATERIALS I mostly used are:
21x28cm Royal Talens Sketchbook
Tombow Dual Brush Pens
Caran d’Ache Luminance Pencils
Ecoline Brush Pens
Derwent Inktense Pencils
Derwent Drawing Pencils
Holbein Pencils
Royal Talens Ecoline Pens
Neocolor II Pastels
Faber Castell Gelatos
So lovely! Looking forward to the full-length version on your Patreon! 💞
Love all the pages! So inspiring! It’s motivating me to finally finish one of my sketchbooks haha
