Are you ready to immerse yourself in nature and creativity this autumn? 🌸 I’m thrilled to announce a 4-day Botanical Painting & Drawing Retreat in the stunning Eifel region of Germany! 🏞
From August 21st to 24th 2025, we’ll gather at a charming retreat centre in Neuheilenbach, surrounded by lush forests, rolling hills, and tranquil landscapes – the perfect setting for artistic inspiration.
What’s in store:
✨ Guided Botanical Art Sessions
Explore the world of plants through the lens of art! We’ll work on capturing local flora's beauty using traditional and mixed media techniques, including watercolour, ink, and pastels. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, I’ll guide you step-by-step through the process of creating detailed, expressive botanical artwork.
✨ Inspiration from Nature
The retreat is designed to help you slow down and observe the subtleties of nature. We’ll spend time sketching outdoors, drawing inspiration directly from the lush surroundings of Neuheilenbach, enhancing our connection to the environment and sharpening our observation skills.
✨ Creative Freedom & Exploration
While the retreat is structured, there’s also plenty of time for individual creativity. I’ll encourage you to experiment with different media, colour palettes, and techniques, and you’ll have the opportunity to develop your own unique botanical art style.
✨ Small Group, Personalized Instruction
To ensure a truly immersive experience, the retreat is limited to a small group, so I can offer personalized guidance and feedback to each participant. You’ll also have the chance to connect with like-minded artists in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Neuheilenbach is a hidden gem nestled in the Eifel region, offering a serene and inspiring setting for creativity. Imagine waking up to the sounds of birdsong, exploring picturesque landscapes during our nature walks, and enjoying the cosy atmosphere of our retreat house.
What’s Included:
3-day botanical art workshop (4-day trip in total)
Accommodation and meals (From Monday evening to Thursday afternoon, all food is provided: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. All organic of course.)
The country house has a wood-fired hot tub and a Finnish sauna in the rose garden. Both are heated up during the weekend!
