August Floral Palette

Matching flowers with art materials

Hi everyone,

I try to follow the seasons as much as I can, and the last few months I’ve really enjoyed taking out my materials and matching them with flowers in the garden.

So I thought I’d create one for you for the month of August. Initially I wanted to take flowers I have on my own roof terrace, but everything got blown away by the wind and rain while I was on holiday, so I went to my parent’s lovely garden and took a few snaps and samples. I then looked at all my pens and pencils and matched them with the floral colours I found.
