Drawing in greenhouses!

Visiting the Botanical Gardens in Amsterdam

I know I said we were going to stay inside but there is also the option of going somewhere and then going inside again :) I did this a few weeks ago when I met up with a friend and visited the Hortus Botanicus in Amsterdam.

When I lived in Amsterdam it was 5 minutes from my house so I visited it regularly and it feels like home whenever I return. Also, when it was really cold outside I used to go into the greenhouses to warm up and dream about being on a tropical trip haha. It cheered me up every time, as it did this time. They also serve hot tea and hot cocoa in the café, which is a big plus.
