How To: Create A (Simple) Pattern

Hi everyone,

One of the questions I get asked the most is, "How do you create your patterns?"
To me, the best thing about creating patterns is how you can play with them. And I wanted to show you a way to do that. This is one of the ways you can make a pattern, but there are many ways to play with it, and I can show other ways in other videos if you'd like.

In this video I'm using a pattern I created for JOANN Fabrics as an example, it's pretty elaborate but of course you can create a pattern with only dots or stripes or simpler elements. Keeping it simple in the beginning

might help you get the hang of it.
And playing around with it is the most fun :)
