Hi everyone,

Join me next Friday for a drawing session inspired by Art Nouveau! We will study the flowy botanical shapes of William Morris!

What are we drawing?
This is a drawing session where we study William Morris and his wonderful Jugendstil-style patterns, and draw our own inspired botanicals!

Timing
We will do a few short studies of William Morris’s work, and will then do 3 or 4 15 minute drawings incorporating what we’ve learned into our own work

Replay
If you can’t attend the session, a replay will be posted as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours).

Materials
You can use anything you like; this session is all about exploring what fits your needs. You can play and mix materials or stick to just one, whatever you fancy. I will probably use brush pens, because they allow me to create a similar flat shape as seen in the patterns of Morris

Tip
You can draw the different elements or combine them into a pattern
