Our next drawing session: Summer Wildflowers
Share

Hi everyone,

Join me Wednesday for a special March draw-along with me and co-host

Melanie Chadwick
! We’ll be sharing a selection of favourite Summer wildflowers.

A little bit about
Melanie Chadwick

You might remember Mel from our March Wonderful Wildflowers session! Mel is a freelance illustrator and artist based in Cornwall. You might already know her from her wonderful YouTube channel, where you can see a glimpse of the beautiful area she lives in and where she shows you a peek into her materials and sketchbooks. She is also the host of Seasalt and Serpentine, where she shares her love for drawing on location, hosts drawing sessions and posts podcasts for you to enjoy.
I especially love how she finds inspiration in her surroundings and the expressive mark-making in her sketchbooks.

When is the session?

What are we drawing?
A session with wonderful co-host

Melanie Chadwick
where we will draw Summer widflowers and will create our own flower meadows!

Timing
The session will last around 90 minutes, and you will have the opportunity to share your pages at the end if you want to.
We’ll paint lots and lots of wildflowers, which you can arrange on your spread (or maybe a concertina?) in any way you like.

Replay
If you can’t attend the session, a replay will be posted as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours).

Materials
You can use anything you like; this session is all about exploring what fits your needs. You can play and mix materials or stick to just one, whatever you fancy.

Tip
Bring a sketchbook or a concertina.
