A little bit about
Mel is a freelance illustrator and artist based in Cornwall. You might already know her from her wonderful YouTube channel, where you can see a glimpse of the beautiful area she lives in and where she shows you a peek into her materials and sketchbooks. She is also the host of Seasalt and Serpentine, where she shares her love for drawing on location, hosts drawing sessions and posts podcasts for you to enjoy.
I especially love how she finds inspiration in her surroundings and the expressive mark-making in her sketchbooks.
On her walks around the peninsula, she encounters many species of wildflowers specific to her region. So why not host a drawing session together where we explore wildflowers from both our regions? :)

What are we drawing?
A session with wonderful co-host
The session will last around 90 minutes, and you will have the opportunity to share your pages at the end if you want to.
We’ll do a spread of short warmup drawings and then relax into longer ones.
If you can’t attend the session, a replay will be posted as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours).
You can use anything you like; this session is all about exploring what fits your needs. You can play and mix materials or stick to just one, whatever you fancy.
Bring a sketchbook or two or a stack of paper.
