Replay - Seashells Workshop

A drawing session where I show you how I paint step-by-step

Thanks, everyone, for joining the session!

In this workshop, I showed how I paint seashells, step by step, using brush markers (Ecoline) and coloured pencils.
We began by focusing on the different markings we could apply to the seashells. We then filled a page with shells, having fun with all the dots, stripes and other possibilities.

You can find the reference pictures (and the ones for the other workshops) of this session here
Our next workshop is this Tuesday. We’ll draw a popular summer subject, peonies. Later in the month, we’ll paint summer meadows. Sign up here:

Markmakings

At the start of the session, I showed a page from a book (which was made by the art school Crejat in Alkmaar, The Netherlands), which shows the different markmaking possibilities really well.

the book is in Dutch, but I explain in the video
