As you may know, I was recently in the south of France. When I visited the botanical garden in Menton, I enjoyed a beautiful landscape setting, in which a yellow villa was located, and all kinds of colourful poppies were growing. When I got home, I sat down for a quiet hour and relived the beautiful landscape by capturing it in my sketchbook.
