The Creative Cocoon is an art club focusing on botanical and animal art.
My name is Pauline, and I am a freelance illustrator based in the Netherlands. I live with my partner, our 6-year-old daughter, and our adorable fluffy white cat. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in creating beautiful botanical and animal illustrations.
Over the years, I have taught various classes at different art schools. My work has been featured in packaging, clothing, book covers, and more. One of the things I love about illustration is its versatility. It can be used to create everything from beautiful artwork to cards you can send to your loved ones.
In the past few years, I have been exploring traditional methods of illustration rather than digital methods. I love the process of bringing my creations to life on paper. As a result, I want to focus on artistic experimentation and stay inspired by finding other people interested in drawing plants, flowers, and animals.
So I started a club where we can create together; share our work, discuss different possibilities and materials, and talk about everything related to art.
