This is such a beautiful post and it makes my heart so happy to find other creative souls in this space. You’re so right about collage! I haven’t touched it since secondary school when I was about 12, so many moons ago! This year alone I’ve created multiple pieces just using left overs or watercolour swatches to make new pieces of art from. I’m such a fan of anything taking more time and patience, anything art related creates such a gorgeous slow state of flow. I’m definitely going to subscribe and hope to join you soon. I’m based in the UK so think the timings will be fine 💞🌺🧡💫
Thanks for being here Louise! And you are so right, left overs can turn into new gems! I’d love for you to join us, and if you have any questions, let me know. I try to plan the sessions on dates and hours that work for all subscribers, so if you have any suggestions, don’t hesitate to send me a message!
That’s what I love about collage - it doesn’t have to be perfect and you can adjust it throughout the whole process. Looking forward to collage with you 🥰
Thanks so much Lisa! The larger scissors I’m using in the video are fancy ones I bought quite a few years ago, they are really sharp. Not sure where I bought them though…the smaller ones are just from my local drugstore, they are meant for clipping nails but perfect for cutting out detailed shapes!
Such a lovely post , can’t wait to see your beautiful collages and I was also thinking collage may come into my dailies some more this month… mixing it into our June Palettes!
Perhaps one month we should collaborate on a theme!
🦆Can you make a Spotted Woodpecker ?
Thanks for including my work from your Côte d’Azur session 🌟

Oh a woodpecker sounds like a great idea, thanks! And yes, let’s collaborate again soon 🥰
Your video on creating a colour palette was great btw, I had it on in the background while I was cutting all the papers 😊
